Computex 2015 - Ducky
Ducky is a well-respected mechanical keyboard manufacturer thanks to consistently produce reliable and very well made keyboards, and the Shine 5 looks set to continue that trend. It is only in prototype form, with a final version tentatively expected by early August.

It's equipped with a full set of Cherry MX RGB switches (in Red, Blue, Black or Brown) now that Corsair's exclusivity agreement has expired. However, Cherry will be using a bigger surface mount LED than Corsair, saying that this allows it to achieve greater brightness. It will also be using a double layer PCB, one for the switches and one for the LEDs, which will make the RMA process far easier should a single LED fail.

Ducky is also experimenting with its keycap design. It says that the ABS keycaps from the previous design allow more brightness through, but that a new double layer design it has developed is less prone to getting dirty as it won't pick up oil from your skin. These keycaps have an inner, translucent white layer and the outer black shell. You may also have noticed the skyline space bars – Ducky will be a producing a range of these so users can pick between cities.
