gah! I come in to work this morning and see this, quite a surprise. I might have to do some serious modding and post an update! I have a few pics that I haven't posted yet...
On a more serious note, I'm surprised to see my mod here, I wouldn't even call it 30-40% done yet. I've been neglecting the right side panel because I don't know how to do it.
Don't fret legoman, I voted for you. I hope you figure it out because I'd like to see more. Good luck to the rest of you I still can't get over putting a computer in a washing machine lol.
This is amazing I never thought I would be picked to be entered in to the mod contest I am almost speechless. Well thanks for picking me and to those who vote for me to be here and congrats to all the other contestants and I wish you all the best of luck.

And some of us are old enough to remember that the baud rate in question was actually 2400, not 2600. Even fewer of us are ancient enough to remember that 2600 (the publication) was named for 2600 (the frequency).
My apologies for the derail, it just pains me to see the youngin's getting their history wrong. :)

I'm glad to see your now looking a mods with potential too!
Has to be the Alu case by Legoman for me ;)
I had high hopes after reading the "new people" bit, it kinda does describe how i started beginning of this month :)
anyway, the casdon mod wins it for me by originality
Anyway, voted for 2600, its a neat case and is gutting something that looks like my (quality) case (!)
Would have been the washing machine if it was a bit further down the line.
and the kind of tools and techniques he is using.....
Plus the fact he really took the time to explain how he did the bends so well.
