huh Im like split, part me is like wow thats amazing and then another part of me is like umm kinda hideous for a HTPC but overall I will say that the craftsmanship is simply superb, you did an amazing job.
Quote r4tch3t 21st July 2008, 01:59
That is awesome, it would make a great LAN case, everyone would be crowded around you to look at it.

Sleepstreamer, this is a really amazing project, the attention to even the finer details are beautiful, love the transition between aluminum and acrylic, Definitely inspirational work there.
Quote cyberfanatic 21st July 2008, 02:31
wow...you're a truly talented man. anyway, i think it would have been better or more detailed if you showed us some pics while the pc is on action, some benchmark will do as well...also, you haven't showed the ports where peripherals can be put into (such as USB, DVI, VGA etc.) :)

YES, GET IN THERE! WASSUUUUUUP!!!

I think there's some explaining to be done here. The first MCE was made as a HTPC/TV, this one was really made to be a small, yet powerful LAN PC. I chose to call it V2 because it was built in the same way. I'm sure I've said this in the log somewhere but meh :)

Thanks for all your great comments!

the man is an f'ing genius, awesome mod
Quote Tile 21st July 2008, 13:34
The idea and execution are top-notch. When I saw what Sleepstreamer did with the first casemod on an Antec SLK 3000B I was amazed by the concept, implementation and attention to detail.
Quote foetus 21st July 2008, 13:54
Wauw, just wauw.

Superb attention to detail, the finish is stunning and I really like the design. It all looks like you did it with ease :).

Quote sotu1 21st July 2008, 15:30
woah. good work. for my personal tastes i wouldn't have gone so far into detail, keep it a bit minimal, but having said that the attention to detail is phenomenal here. really high standard. great stuff man.
