Worklog: Here
When we first came accross AnG3L's project log we thought we were in for a rather calm and holy experiece with a lot of white and gold fluffyness. How wrong were we. Project AnG3L came from a humble beginnings though which included the death of a toy car to make a custom radiator grill and clear acrylic sections being glued and moulded together to create what appears to be an angel or a dove.
From there, AnG3L has begun to craft a masterpiece of black and fiery orange with lazer cut sidepanels to bring a rather devilish look to the system that Satan himself would be proud to play
Crysis on.
Above we can see the poor car being massacred to provide parts for the radiator grill. Using a Dremel, AnG3L carefully removed the pieces he needed before gluing them back together in the required shape. Let's hope whoever the previous owner was had adequate insurance cover, or maybe dad went out and bought a nice new, faster, shinier one!
The finished section has been totally transformed and here we can see the first hints of the fiery orange colour scheme that appears elsehwere later on. AnG3L also constructed his own reservoir stand complete with what looks like an EK Multioption reservoir mount. We'll have to guess what colour coolant AnG3L will use and how this will fit inside the Lian Li case.
Having completed some initial sketches of his side panel design, the finished article arrived back from the cutters and AnG3L set to work adding the orange and black colour scheme. The gothic detail of the wings is really impressive.
Having fashioned what appears to be an angel for the front panel, this was attached after having been sprayed to the panel which has also received a coat of the fiery orange paint. Certainly anything but heavenly. It looks awesomely evil! We can't wait to see Project AnG3L come together.
