Quintessence

Worklog: Here
There's yet another cube in the line up this month but this one has been built from scratch. There's plenty of work going on too in voigts project log - his first we've seen since his awesome
Zenith Antique Radio Scratch Build.
Early renders show a compact cube with some fairly hefty water coooling hardware packed in too - there's evidence of two dual 120mm-fan radiators mounted in the side panel. As we saw with his previous project, the enclosure is to be made of wood but last time we checked this hadn't been made yet.
The above render really caught our eyes with the white fans contrasting well against the dark finish of the wood. On the left we get some idea of the work and effort gone in to the project so far with this particular photo showing the tools voigts used to bend some of the aluminium for the case.
Here's one of the first images of the cube with many of the panels secured together and some of the hardware installed. On the right is the rear panel, freshly cut and showing where everything is going sit.
Here's the case from some different angles apparently about to receive its first coat of paint. It's clear the next few weeks will have plenty of eyecandy on show so add Quintessence to your list of projects to check on again soon.
