M8 by p0Pe
Project Log: Here
Forum member p0Pe has already had a fair share of the limelight this year with his fabulous
PC-Beto project, but he's now back for more with his latest endeavour - M8, which is based around a CaseLabs M8 case.
As you'd expect from the creator of PC-Beto, the project has a heavy focus on water-cooling. In fact, p0Pe is planning on using three triple 120mm-fan radators and two Laing D5 pumps - it's a great showcase of the latest off-the-shelf parts in the water-cooling world.
As with PC-Beto, many of the parts have been fashioned from scratch, and we don't think it will be long before p0Pe embarks on a world-class scratch-build either. The case certainly provides plenty of room, and p0Pe is making the most of this by installing lots of custom-made cable-routeing guides and reservoirs.
In the most recent updates, we've caught a glimpse of the case with most of the hardware installed - it's set to be a beast of a PC and we're absolutely glued to the project log, which sports some epic use of a tasty 3D printer.
Needless to say, this is one to watch. If you want to pledge your support to p0Pe, then head over to our
forum.
