Symantec Launches its Fastest Norton Security Products Ever

Is it as invasive as previous Norton Security Suites, where it used to 'take over' from the inbuilt Windows security settings?

If not, it sounds too good to be true.

Fast by Symantec standards yeah, but it will still feel like you just released a bull in your china shop.

I bought the 3 PC version of 2008. I had it on my core 2 duo running Vista for about 3 days before I couldn't handle the invasive way it checks everything you do and everywhere you go. Just cripples performance. Uninstalled now, and I'm happier.

It's the Fastest Norton product to date... which means it's still a few years behind everyone else.
