Eidos has finally provided the first details on what will be in the new downloadable content packs for
Batman: Arkham Asylum, which have been teased in the already available console versions lately.
Due for release on Thursday, the DLC is called
The Insane Night pack and contains two extra maps for Challenge Mode, which tasks Batman with clearing an area as fast as possible.
The first map in the pack is called Totally Insane and is a straight-up action map set in Arkham Asylum's Record Room, with Batman having to punch his way through some of the Joker's fastest and most lethal goons - Eidos promise it'll strain even accomplished players.
The second map is a stealthier affair, called Nocturnal Hunter, with Batman having to incapacitate the foes without arousing too much attention.
The DLC pack will be totally free and is headed to all platforms, PC included, even though the PhysX-enhanced PC version of the game doesn't go on sale until Friday. Our review will be going up shortly though, so make sure you keep a close eye on the
Gaming Index.
You'll have to wait a bit longer for our thoughts on the PC version, but if you've already tinkered with the console version then let us know your thoughts in
the forums.
