An image of the Xbox 360 box art which briefly appeared on Electronic Arts' EA Store indicates that Bioware's upcoming space-based RPG will feature Kinect support.

The image in question appeared for only a short time on EA's online store, but was spotted by NeoGAF forum members before it was taken down.

While the forum-based nature of the discovery may lead some to scepticism, it's worth pointing out that the image remains on EA's servers.

The image shows Commander Shepherd striding towards the player, with Earth under attack in the background. Above the main title a Kinect-purple strip shows an image of Microsoft's latest Xbox 360 controller and reads 'Better with Kinect Sensor'.

There's no confirmation or comment from Electronic Arts at the moment, but it would appear to tie into Microsoft's plans to feature the Kinect controller in more hardcore games in the future.

Mass Effect 3 is currently set for a early 2012 release on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Check out the trailer below and let us know your thoughts in the forums.
