We have just come across the two technology demo's that were showed to us at NVIDIA's recent Editor's Day held back in June.

Anyone who is interested in what the GeForce 7800 GTX is capable of and has a GeForce 6-series (or higher) video card, will be able to check these demo's out in their entirety, albeit slowly...

GeForce 7 series is an improvement over the GeForce 6-series in terms of capabilities - we're still on DirectX 9.0c, Shader Model 3.0-based hardware, so there are no shader-based improvements, meaning that it will run on GeForce 6 video cards. For those of you who don't have a GeForce 6-series of GeForce 7800 GTX video card, you will be able to watch the demo's in Windows Media Player.

There are two demo's: Luna and Mad Mod Mike... I wonder where they got the idea for the latter from?

You can download the Luna demo here and the video here.

The Mad Mod Mike demo can be found here and the video here.

I personally think the Luna demo is more impressive than the Mad Mod Mike demo... Which do you prefer? Let us know in our forums.
