PhysX powers Mafia II

Mafia II is a beautifully crafted look into the dark and unforgiving world of the Mafia. Developer 2K Games has built its own engine to create an exciting and violent open world game. For the PC release, it worked with Nvidia to use PhysX technology to enrich the player's experience.

In this video, senior developer Denby Grace explains how Nvidia's PhysX technology has enabled the development team to make Mafia II's environments highly destructible, resulting in exciting, dynamic and engrossing combat.
