MSI announces at CES a new range of award winning ultra-slim and stylish X-Slim notebooks

Las Vegas, 7th January, 2010: MSI, the manufacturer of notebooks, PCs and computer components, today announces the launch of its award winning new range of X-Slim notebooks. At CES 2010 the 13" X350, X360, 14" X420, and 15.6" X620 are being unveiled.
All new X-Slim notebooks feature the Intel CULV platform with Intel Core 2 Duo processors, offering high performance processing power and ultra-long battery life. They also ooze style and glamour with the X620 already winning the equivalent of a design Oscar, a German IF Product Design Award. These features make them the optimum choice for those who require a perfect balance between power, portability and stylish appearance.
MSI X420
The sleek and sophisticated X420 offers consumers a 14 inch HD widescreen display in 16:9 format, with HDMI and Bluetooth. The X420 weighs in at a lightweight 1.5 kg including battery, and is less than one inch thick, making it perfectly portable. The X420 comes in a gorgeous cappuccino brown colour adding a touch of class to the stylish notebook. MSI’s distinctive Chiclet keyboard gives both the exterior and interior a comprehensive upgrade, making the X420 a real statement at CES.
The new X420 is specially equipped with the ATi Mobility Radeon HD 5430 discrete graphics card with 1GB DDR3 VRAM, Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor, and MSI's exclusive 3D Boost technology for outstanding display and processing technology. It also has a great battery life of up to 9 hours. These features make the X420 great for gaming and watching HD movies. The X420's star feature is its full support for two of the latest mobile broadband technologies, 3.5G and WiMAX. The new slimline MSI X620 comes equip with a 15.6 inch, 16:9 cinematic LED backlit display with support for HD output. With a built in ATi Mobility Radeon HD Discrete graphics card, the new generation X620 also features the unique 3D Boost button making it great for gaming. The X620 comes with a built in 2-spindle optical drive so users can enjoy their favourite movies. It also comes with an 8-cell battery giving the X620 an amazing 10 hour battery life! These features make the MSI X620 a perfect integration of performance, beauty, ultra-thin design and audio/video entertainment.
The X-Slim X620 not only has brains but also has beauty; the proud winner of the German IF Product Design Award the X620 has a smooth and attractive ultra-thin body design with a total weight of only 2.4kg.
