ViewSonic launches world's first 27" LCD monitor with 1ms response time

London, 7 May 2010 – ViewSonic has launched the VX2739wm, the world’s first 27” LCD monitor with a response time of only one millisecond. The low response time means the VX2739wm can easily handle rapidly moving images, making it ideally suited for high performance applications such as gaming, high-definition video playback and graphic design.
The VX2739wm is capable of full 1080p hi-definition performance on its widescreen 27” display, and thanks to its multiple inputs, including HDMI and DVI, it can be used in a variety of situations. The high-quality viewing experience is further enhanced by the monitor’s 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 300 nits brightness, providing accurate colour reproduction and the best possible viewing experience.

The VX2739wm features two 2W built-in SRS Premium Sound speakers, giving users a cinematic audio experience straight out of the box. The monitor also features four USB 2.0 sockets, increasing the range of connectivity options and providing users with much greater flexibility.
