Yes, we've finally found time to record a new hardware podcast. Once you're over the shock you'll be able to hear the dulcet tones of Clive, Paul, Alex and James discussing the current goings on in the world of PC hardware.
We start by taking a look at the launch of ATI's Radeon HD 6870 1GB and HD 6850 1GB, discussing where they fit into the market and why we've chosen to call them ATI cards instead of AMD cards. Clive also spells out why ATI seems to have broken its naming convention with the two cards.[break]
We then turn our attention to the current state of the CPU market discussing everything from the current generation of chips to their replacements and beyond. James also lets us in on some of the interesting things he saw at IDF a few weeks ago including some juicy rumours about Intel's forthcoming LGA2011 socket.
We've also got our normal guess the hardware competition, where you could win some of the assorted 'stuff' we've got hanging around in our labs.
Finally, we do our best to answer some of the questions you sent in during the podcast on topics ranging from mince pies to multi-GPU set-ups.
