AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Gaming Platform Performance

Rather surprisingly, the Athlon 64 X2 6000+ was the fastest chip we've tested in our Call Of Duty 2 benchmark at this resolution. However, the landscape changes in both Quake 4 and Half-Life 2: Episode One. In the former, the X2 6000+ is outperformed by the E6700, but manages to fend off the Core 2 Duo E6600. In the latter, it loses ground to the E6600 and ends up slower than it.
