The second mod we are going to take a look at can also be found on our forums as well as on the Cooler Master Forum. If you read our Mod of the Month feature, you will also have seen it there.

If you are looking for bling, then this is your build. Real gold has been used throughout, so if you are a bit of a gold digger, find MT. Mods' house.


Again, we can see the trusty Cooler Master MasterCase 5 has been used for this mod.


One of the first jobs for MT. Mods was to get the base colour down. In this build, he chose white with gold detailing. The Gold Rush logo has been decorated with pyrite or "fools gold".


Gold detailing is something you will notice throughout this build, even in areas that are hidden. Attention to detail can really make the difference between a good build and a great build.


The Cooler Master logo has been covered in 24ct gold leaf.


Alphacool has been used for the blocks and these got hit with some nice gold spray paint. These are great to mod as you can pull the covers away from the CPU block allowing easy modding.


Even the Alphacool fittings have been electroplated in 24ct gold. If it can be seen, it is either gold or white!


The finished build has some extra gold detailing, and although some of it is not to my personal taste, there is no denying the quality of the finished product.


When light hits the build it really does shine. The parallel loop suits the build well and the gold detailing looks great.

I think Cooler Master will be very happy with what has been achieved with this build, and it is certainly different and a strong contender for the Case Mod World Series. Next up, we have Project TRON by Megadeblow.
