If you're a regular reader of the forums you hopefully noticed the invite to beta test a new version of
bit-tech - many of you did and over the last few weeks have helped us tweak, refine and troubleshoot the first bit-tech redesign in
five years.
Now, we're almost ready to hit the big red go button which takes pride of place on developer Jamie's desk - and the excitement will happen on Monday morning. There will be limited downtime while the magic is worked (probably around 11am or so), but by lunch time, the bit-tech you know and love will have levelled up.
This isn't going to be one of those redesigns where everything changes, and the new site still maintains the
bit-tech feel. It does however, do a much better job of showing all the content we now produce, from massive reviews to blogs and podcasts. The updated site also has new features - you can now find content by companies, explore topics such as overclocking using tags, and there's a better search engine.
Make sure you check out the site on Monday to see what's new! In the meantime, feel free to speculate and gesticulate
in the forums.
