Russian music site AllofMP3.com has taken another blow,
even after closing its doors, as the former owner
now faces jail time after being charged with violating intellectual property laws in a Moscow court.
Denis Kvasov faces three years in jail and a fine of £250,000 in damages to record labels Universal, EMI, and Warner.
Alltunes.com, the current incarnation of AllofMP3, had been facing it's own legal battles Visa and Mastercard
blocked payments to the site until recently when the
court ruled in the favor of Alltunes.
Even though AllofMP3 was operating in a gray area of the law, do you think Kvasov deserves the fine and jail time? Discuss it down below in the comments section or
over in the forums.
