Apple looks set to drop its iPhone 5 into consumers' laps in September, according to information obtained from Apple's component suppliers in Asia.
According to
The Guardian, these suppliers say they're gearing up to enter mass production of the new iPhone in less than three months, while also preparing for another iPhone launch in 2012.
The iPhone 5 reportedly has a very similar in design to the current iPhone 4 - a rumour that's been
floating around for a while. However,
Bloomberg reports that the new phone is likely to sport a new 8MP camera, as well as an A5 processor like the CPU in the iPad 2, which was released earlier this year.
According to Bloomberg, the new iPhone will also include iOS 5, which promises a host of new features, including photo and Twitter messaging across some applications, computer-less updates and the ability to use Apple's iCloud service to sync data between devices.
