British supermarket Tesco has silently revealed that it is to start dealing in second hand computer games, according to
MCV.
The news comes from a new advertising campaign launched by Tesco that offers customers the chance to trade-in some unwanted games for store credit.
Credit can then be spent on any other store items, not just other games; swap games for groceries, in other words. Tesco will then re-sell the traded in titles nationwide at participating stores. Around 60 Tesco stores in the UK are reported to be part of the new campaign.
According to the adverts customers will get £19 credit for
Red Dead Redemption on Xbox 360 or
Mario Kart on the Wii.
2010 FIFA World Cup on PS3 will net you £12.
