If you, like everyone else, are spending these hot summer days in front of a television enjoying the World Cup then you’ll be delighted to hear that some more news has emerged about what most football fans classify as the best footy game on the market, Pro Evolution Soccer.
Konami has managed to secure the high profile signature of Brazilian Adriano to be the face of the latest in the series, Pro Evo 6.
“Adriano is rightly regarded as a player with skill, pace and passion – all key elements to success in Pro Evolution Soccer 6,” says the man from Konami.
“We are very excited to be working with such a talent, and further new signings will be announced in the coming weeks.”
Adriano, who will receive an undisclosed (read: large) fee for his endorsement, was understandably pleased:
“I am really looking forward to working with Konami on what everyone knows to be the most realistic football game around,” the striker said.
“Pro Evolution Soccer 6 is known worldwide for its quality and I am delighted to be associated with such a fine series.”
The game should be released some time around autumn. We got to have a kickaround with the Xbox 360 version at E3, and thought it looked like a nifty evolution (sorry) of the series.
