If you're one of the many people who like killing soldiers in slow motion whilst chasing round ghostly images of a disturbing looking girl then you’ll be pleased to know that a new patch has been released for FEAR.

The full installation file weighs in at 411 Mb, whilst the 1.04-1.05 patch is only(?) 148 Mb. The new release includes two new multiplayer modes called Control and Capture All. Here's the lowdown:

“Control mode: Two teams compete for three Control Points. Teams earn points for each Control Point they hold. To win, one team must reach the score limit before their opposition or have the highest score when the time limit expires.

Capture All mode: Two teams compete for five Control Points. Team points are earned for neutralizing or capturing a Control Point as well as killing enemy players. To win, one team must capture all five Control Points, reach the score limit before opposing team does, or have the highest score when the time limit expires.”

The game's also got two new maps, so if you enjoy F.E.A.R multiplayer then go grap this STAT!
