Vivendi has confirmed that an expansion for F.E.A.R. is in the works.
The expansion will be developed by Timegate Studios for the publishing house, with only some involvement by Monolith, after Monolith and Vivendi had a bit of a falling out.
The story will centre around attempts to battle the now-free Alma and her minions, leading on from where the first game finished up. Vivendi has confirmed that the game will, as expected, have new locations, weapons and enemies.
No word on a release date yet, but we'd suspect that it will be available before the year is out. We're wondering if we might be able to get our hands on it at E3...
