Friday the 13th reveals new footage of Jason Vorhees hitting a door

Forthcoming asymmetrical horror game Friday The 13th The Game has released another video, still sans gameplay but at least in this case showing that Jason Voorhees has never met a door he couldn’t smash through with an axe.

The multiplayer-focused survival horror sounds amazing, with one player controlling the loveable lump while seven other players merely try to survive. The team have published a ton of developer diaries, videos and other snippets on the game’s Kickstarter page, although we’re still short on actual gameplay footage.

The concept sounds strong though, the video game equivalent of a slasher movie, that you and your friends can play in whichever way works for you. It’s developed by Gun Media and should be releasing this autumn.
