bit-tech reader Eliminos informs us that Valve has released the official website for the upcoming Half-Life 2: Episode One, formerly known as Half-Life 2: Aftermath.

The Episode One website has some new screenshots, along with the screenshots that we showed you on Friday. There is also a new trailer, a couple of desktop backgrounds, hints to two multiplayer games and even glances over the story line.

Half-Life 2: Episode One is the first in a series of new adventures created by Valve that extend the Half-Life 2 single player experience. It details the aftermath of Half Life 2 and launches a journey beyond City 17.

Stepping into the hazard suit of Dr. Gordon Freeman, you face the immediate repercussions of your actions in City 17 and the Citadel. Rejoin Alyx Vance and her robot, Dog, to once again aid the human resistance in their desperate battle against the totalitarian alien menace of the Combine.

Half-Life 2: Episode One will be Valve's first venture into episodic content and will feature between four to six hours of intense gameplay. The episodes are expected every nine to twelve months, with Episode One scheduled for 1st June.
