Lost Coast, the expansion for Half-Life 2 which adds high dynamic range lighting effects to the game, will apparently feature some added extras that no one knows about yet.
The announcement on Steam this weekend brought news that the expansion "is nearly completion and will be released soon on Steam... We're going to include a bit of extra content with Lost Coast, which we haven't mentioned yet."
Quite what that could be, who knows. Maybe an interim level to span Half-Life 2 to the forthcoming expansion, Aftermath? Maybe a playable-Alex level?
Speculation is fun, but we'll be hitting up Valve to bring you more details on the Lost Coast just as soon as we can get our hands on them. Believe me, the wait for this expansion is killing us just as much as it's killing you.
