Bioware has confirmed that a sequel to
Dragon Age: Origins is in development and may soon be officially unveiled.
Dragon Age 2 was listed as a current project in an announcement that saw the
Mass Effect maker taking control of
Warhammer: Online's servers
Posting on the
official Bioware twitter account, the studio said that today would be an important day for Bioware fans too.
"
2morrow will be a great day for BioWare fans. Just sayin'," said the official feed, yesterday.
The news of a sequel isn't a big surprise though, as EA had previously hinted that
Dragon Age 2 was planned and may see a 2011 release between January and March. There is still no official release date or details from Bioware, however.
There's no idea what the game will be called either - if the first one was subtitled
Origins then will the sequel be called
Middles or
Ends?
