THQ and Digital Extremes have detailed the PC version of upcoming shooter, Homefront, and revealed that it will have a plethora of extra features and options beyond the console versions of the game.
According to a post on
the official Homefront blog, the PC version of the game will feature extra viewpoints for all vehicles, so that all vehicles can be driven in first and third person mode.
Helicopters will get improved controls too, with three different settings for players to try out, from Ace (most control, but most difficult) to Rookie (pick up and play) difficulties. There's also a Practice Mode for players who want to practice helicopter flying outside out multiplayer or singleplayer levels.
Squad management and clan support has been added to the PC version as well, plus Valve's VAC anti-cheat system and more post-match stat tracking.
PC players with the appropriate hardware will get extra performance from SLI/Crossfire configurations, as well as support for Nvdia's 3DVision.
