A new Humble Bundle has launched, taking the pay-what-you-want promotion back into the realms of indie games.
The Humble Jumbo Bundle 2 includes The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, Deadlight and Galactic Civilizations 2: Ultimate Edition for a minimum price of $1. Paying above the average, currently $6, will also unlock Terraria, The King of Fighters XIII and Crusader Kings 2 with three DLC packages.
As an extra bonus, anyone spending more than $15 will also get the Age of Empires Legacy Bundle, including Age of Empires 2 HD and the Age of Empires 3 Complete Collection.
Of the selected games, all are redeemable on Steam with only Deadlight having a DRM-free option. Crusader Kings 2 can also be picked up on Linux and Mac.
Like with previous bundles, proceeds can be split between developers, the Humble team and selected charities. This bundle is working with the American Red Cross and Child’s Play.
More games will be added to the bundle over the next couple of weeks and as well as the games, picking up the bundle also allows customers to download the soundtracks for all titles except for Age of Empires.
The bundle is running for another 13 days and at the time of writing it has already sold more than 100,000 copies.
Whilst the Humble Bundle has its roots in indie games, recently it has been working with more traditional triple-A publishers to bring more well-known games to the bundles. One of the team’s latest bundles was a Square Enix bundle including a mix of modern and classic titles from the publisher’s portfolio.
