Sony has rather nicely summed up just what the PlayStation 4 will be offering now and in the coming months with an action packed PS4 launch video.

Just about every game that will be available on the new console is shown in the video, including launch titles Knack, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Battlefield 4 and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and a host of upcoming ones such as Watch Dogs, Infamous: Second Son, NBA 2K14, DriveClub and much more.

A couple of the highlights are a glimpse at, Braid creator, Jonathan Blow's new title, The Witness, which is coming out only on PC and PS4. There's also a hint that the hugely popular PS3 game, The Last Of Us, will be coming to the new console with a clip of the upcoming DLC for the game being shown.

The new console launched today in America to, thus far, a generally positive critical response, garnering an 8/10 from Engadget and 7.5/10 from Polygon. We'll be adding our thoughts next week.

The PS4 release date for the UK isn't until 29 November, but even then, if you haven't long since got your pre-orders in you may be struggling to get one in time for Christmas, with 'before-Christmas' delivery guarantees disappearing from most shops offering pre-orders.

On a more positive note, this video also caught our eye and gave us a chuckle.
