Electronic Arts will be sponsoring the upcoming SCI-FI London film festival, which will be running from the 30th of April to the 4th of May, and has just revealed what games it will have on show at the Apollo West End theatre.

And it is very good news for anyone with even a passing interest in games.

EA has announced that it will be showing Command and Conquer: Kane's Wrath, Stephen Spielberg's Boom Blox, Dead Space and Wil Wright's Spore over the course of the event and that all of the above games will be playable for all attendees.

In other words, there's going to be a bunch of very angry Klingons fighting over whose go it is at the Spore booth.

We had a chance to play Spore in a rare hands-on showing of the game a few weeks ago and we were mightily impressed with the title which is considered by many to be the most ambitious project in game development since Quake.

There's a whole load of other events going on at the show though, so even if Spore isn't your type of game then there's bound to be something of interest to you. You can find out more details about the show at the official website.

Are you excited by Spore or any of the other games on the list? Let us know in the forums.
