CD Projekt Red has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is due for release on February 24 2015.
The developers have unveiled details of the game’s physical editions with the standard box shipping with a soundtrack CD, a map of the game’s world, a set of stickers and the developer-created Witcher universe compendium alongside the game disc itself.
A collector’s edition will also be launched including a 10” hand painted figurine of series protagonist Geralt of Rivia fighting a Griffin, a wolf’s head medallion and a 200-page artbook.
A new trailer for the game has also gone live.
Pre-ordering the game on GOG.com will also give players a digital Witcher comic book, a copy of the classic Neverwinter Nights and it will grant access to The Witcher Adventure Game, a digital version of CD Projekt Red’s Witcher-themed board game that is entering closed beta access later this year. UK customers will also receive just just under £10 in GOG bonus codes as the game is more expensive in the UK than in the US.
The WItcher 3: Wild Hunt is being developed for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC. Based on a series of books by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, the first game in the series was originally a PC only title with a console version planned by ultimately scrapped.
