THQ has unveiled a new logo to replace the old white-on-black branding which has long been associated with the publisher.
According to THQ's CEO, Brian Farrell, the new logo is meant to reflect the changing state of THQ and it's continuing commitment to innovation.
'
Our new logo epitomizes the change, innovation and creative growth that are the cornerstones of the new THQ,' said Farrell in the official press release.
The 'new THQ' that Farrell refers to is likely a reference to the way the publisher has restructured and refocused over the last few years. The company has gone from
lay-offs and
$430m losses in 2009 to
poaching top staff from Ubisoft and brokering new deals with film-maker
Guillermo Del Toro.
The new logo will start appearing on all new packaging and marketing material this February, rolling out everywhere else shortly afterward. Let us know what you think of the new logo in
