We have just learned that Microsoft is planning to release its Xbox 360 console to the public in November.
According to a promotional page on MTV's website that lists next week's unveiling of Microsoft's new console. The page has some interesting details regarding the general release of Xbox 360.
Last week,
Bill Gates talked a lot about Xbox 360, and it seems that everyone is doing their bit to give us a clearer picture of how good this console is likely to be, along with when it is expected to be available to purchase.
The programme, called
"MTV Presents: The Next Generation Xbox Revealed" is where the new Xbox will be showcased.
The listing promises many things:
"Behind-the-scenes and inside scoop" and also
"Trailers of the newest games that are due out in November for the new XBOX". The latter gives us a good indication of when we can expect Xbox 360 to be available for purchase.
Could the console be launched on the fourth anniversary of the original Xbox? The old console was released in mid-November 2001, and it would add up in the wake of recent suspicions that suggested this was a possibility.
The show, MTV Presents: The Next Generation Xbox Revealed, will be aired next Thursday at 9:30pm Eastern/Pacific Time in the USA, while it will be aired on Friday 13th May at 8pm in the UK. We will bring you more details on the new Xbox as we get them.
