Xbox Live’s Games with Gold titles announced for June 2016

The four games free to Xbox Live Gold members in June have been announced, with a special deal for those with an Xbox One.

As usual, there are two Xbox One titles and two Xbox 360 titles going free except, this time, the Xbox 360 games are both backwards compatible - Xbox One owners can play all four games included in the Games with Gold program for June 2016.

The two Xbox One titles are Goat Simulator and The Crew, the former being available for free to Xbox Live Gold members from June 1 - June 30, and the latter entering the deal on June 16 until July 15. Super Meat Boy and XCOM: Enemy Unknown are the two titles available for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners, coming under the deal on June 1 - June 15 and June 16 - June 30 respectively.

Playstation’s similar program with Playstation Plus will likely announce its free games for June later this week. Three of last month’s Games with Gold games are still available to download if you haven’t got yours yet - Defense Grid 2 and Costume Quest 2 on Xbox One and Peggle on Xbox 360. Hey, it’s free games. Can’t really go wrong with that. Probably.
