HMV has announced that it is on board to sponsor Game On! London, the new expo and eSports event being held between 20th and 21st June this summer. In London, obviously.
Taking place at the Olympia Exhibition Centre, the expo is anticipating a whopping attendance of over 25,000 spectators. Special events include the Dell XPS Premiership Season One Finals, where the UK's top eSports teams will battle to the end across a selection of games.
"Game On! London represents a superb opportunity to create a memorable landmark event that will enable us to get even closer to the game-playing customers that we value so much," said HMV gamesboss Tim Ellis.
"With the Game On! London close partnership with UkeSA, the main aim is to bring all elements and genres of gaming under one roof. Ellis believes that the event will generate "a very special partnership and an unforgettable two-day festival of gaming."
To sign up for the UkeSA Season Two leagues, head to the official site. The closing date for entries is midnight on 20th July 2009.
