We've seen a number of high-profile Steampunk case mods and scratchbuilds over the years and many have found their way into our prestigious Mod of the Year list of nominees too. Another to add to the records was completed recently by forum member cucmag.

Perhaps even ore interestingly, the project, called Steam cuc's is one of the first PC mods we've seen to make use of BeQuiet!'s new enthusiast chassis - known as the Silent Base 800. cucmag set about dismantling the case completely before spraying various sections and the hardware.

Perhaps one of the most eye-popping features is the use of copper tubing instead of flexible or rigid acylic 'hard line' tubing, to match the copper-coloured details.

We'll hopefully be looking at the case in a full review soon but in the meantime you can check out the completed photos below or head over to the project log to see the whole build process.
