Rumours that Michael Jackson was planning a new video game starring himself before his death have apparently been confirmed by the King of Pop's own production company, MJJ Productions.
The game has apparently been in development for several months already, though it's unclear how much development might be hampered (or sales boosted) by the death of Michael Jackson recently. Jackson suffered cardiac arrest at him home in LA on June 25th, with
investigation still on-going into what exactly may have caused the arrest.
Jackson himself was a huge fan of video games and had a large arcade collection in his home and had apparently leant his voice and music to the game before his death.
Details on what form the game will actually take are scarce, but a representative for MJJ Productions said that the game was for home console platforms and had been in development for several months already, though no indication was given of what state it is in.
"
I am sure it will still be released," the MJJ Production spokesperson said in a comment tp
MCV UK. "
Michael loved games."
The game is currently scheduled for release this Christmas, but little else is really known about the the follow-up to the
Moonwalker games
