Matrox has been
showing off a DVI version of its awesome TripleHead2Go device.
We looked at the VGA version of the device
a while back, and declared it a spectacular gaming device for those looking for massive immersion.
We also saw the laptop-friendly predecessor,
DualHead2Go, back in 2005.
When looking at these products, we've always said that they would become far more compelling purchase propositions when they were DVI, and the signal could be all-digital all the way through from the graphics card to the monitor input. This was, we felt, always a no brainer - perhaps the only surprise is that it has taken Matrox as long as it has taken them to get this sroted!
The TripleHead2Go Digital Edition will be on sale by the end of June for $229. This is a high price, but the Counter-Strike love will be so, so worth it.
