The harsh economic climate claimed another victim today. The bad news comes from Aqua-PCs, primarily a water-cooling hardware retailer based in Ely near Cambridge, has announced that as of yesterday (03/03/09) it has ceased trading.

Aqua-PCs was one of only a handful of retailers selling specialised hardware for water-cooling, including hardware from the likes of EK Blocks and XSPC along with modding supplies, cases and peripherals.

It started trading in December 2004 and its website first went online in 2006. However, a note on the website’s front page now reads:

'Aqua-Pcs Cease Trading - Effective 03/03/09

Unfortunately due to the current economic climate Aqua-Pcs has become insolvent and has ceased trading.

Please contact sales@aqua-pcs.co.uk with any queries.'

Pascal Bregeon, owner of Aqua-PCS also told bit-tech that he would like to thank customers for their support, and that, as the site states, if you have any queries regarding this matter you should contact Aqua-PCs at sales@aqua-pcs.co.uk.

While this is a setback for UK water-cooling enthusiasts, Feser, Thermochill and others have announced new radiator designs to look forward to in 2009.
