ASUS was showing off its new dual Radeon X1600XT 'Gemini' video card on its stand today.
The card features a pair of Radeon X1600XT GPUs, and 512MB of 1.4ns memory, with 256MB assigned to each GPU. The two GPUs come clocked at 590MHz, while the memory is clocked at 1.4GHz, with each 256MB pool connecting to the GPU via a 128-bit memory interface.
There are also four outputs on the back of the card - a pair of DVI ports and a couple of VGA ports to boot. This is the first CrossFire on-a-single-card solutions we've had the chance to photograph, but GeCube was showing a similar solution off at CeBIT.
The card is larger than your average video card and will work in any CrossFire-compatible motherboard. ATI isn't quite as far on as NVIDIA in the dual-GPU development cycle - NVIDIA released its flagship 'single card'
GeForce 7950 GX2 dual GPU card into the channel with massive availability on Monday just passed.
