We don't have much to add to comments from elsewhere on the net about the (non)availability of CrossFire.

The bad news is, we've been poking around on X1800, and the situation in the UK doesn't look any better. More on that tomorrow.

In the meantime, you can check out comments from:

Charlie at the Inquirer

Kyle at HardOCP

Rahul Sood at VoodooPC

Ryan Shrout at PCPerspective.

In terms of UK availability specifically, if you pop along to Evesham's homepage, you will see that there are no CrossFire-ready systems listed. Alienware don't have systems for sale, Armari don't have any either. In fact none of the UK system builders seem to have systems based on ATI's CrossFire technology for sale.

We concluded in our review that with current generation cards, CrossFire isn't exactly hot - but it would be nice to see systems based around the motherboards.

Give us your thoughts on the situation in the forums.
