Nvidia has announced that it is giving away copies of Gears of War 4 with selected GeForce GTX graphics cards, GTX-equipped pre-built PCs, and mobile GPUs, while rival AMD is offering Deus Ex: Mankind Divided to buyers of selected FX-series processors, a free copy of Doom for Radeon R9 390 and 390X purchasers, or a discount on Battlefield 1 if you pick up a Radeon RX 480.

Nvidia's offer allows anyone purchasing a GeForce GTX 1070 or GTX 1080, pre-built PC containing the same, or their laptop equivalents, from participating retailers to snag a copy of Gears of War 4 - developed, naturally, under Nvidia's Game Ready programme. Interestingly, though, the offer isn't exclusive to the Windows 10 release of the game: those picking up a valid card and redeeming the code will receive copies of the game for both Windows and Microsoft's Xbox One console - the latter being a particular surprise, powered as it is by hardware from Nvidia's rival AMD.

Full details of the offer's international availability can be found on the official website, with UK retailers confirmed as including Aria PC, BT Shop, Box.co.uk, CCL Computers, CEL, Chillblast Performance PCs, Fresh Tech Solutions, Mesh Computers, Novatech, PC Specialist, Scan, UK Gaming Computers, Yoyotech, and Laptops Direct. The offer joins the company's existing INdie Bundle, which provides a code for a free copy of Dead by Daylight or Hard Reset Redux for GeForce GTX 950, 960, and mobile equivalent GPUs as detailed on the offer page.

AMD, meanwhile, is offering codes for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided with purchase of its six- and eight-core FX-series processors or systems containing the same - a move designed, it would appear, to clear inventory ahead of retail availability of its Bristol Ridge chips featuring the shiny new forwards-compatible AM4 socket type. As with Nvidia's offer, full details are available on the [eurl=https://www.amdrewards.com/amdrewards/]official website[eurl], with confirmed UK retailers including BT Shop, Novatech, Overclockers UK, PC Specialist, and Scan.

Those who pick up a Radeon RX 480 graphics card or pre-built system with one already installed, meanwhile, will receive a discount code for Battlefield 1 - either the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition or the 'standard' Deluxe Edition if redeemed after October 21st. This offer, slightly less tempting than an entirely free game, allows owners to pick up the Deluxe Editions of the game for the same price as the Standard Edition. If you pick up the Radeon R9 390 or 390X, meanwhile, you won't get the discount but can instead get a free copy of Bethesda's Doom reboot.

Nvidia's Gears of War 4 offer is valid for purchases made between September 20th through to October 30th inclusive, 'or while supplies last,' and runs alongside the Indie Bundle offer which launched on August 9th and expires on October 3rd. AMD's Deus Ex counter-offer is valid for purchases between August 23rd and December 31st, following an extension this week to the offer's original deadline of November 14th, while the Battlefield 1 discount offer runs from September 13th to October 18th and the Doom offer from September 15th to November 15th.
