US retalier Newegg has
already listed the GeForce GTX 465 for sale, ahead of its expected Computex launch. The site is listing a retail price of $279.99 for every single card. The listings also confirm the specs we
showed earlier, which include 352 stream processors running at 1,215MHz with a core clock of 607MHz and 1GB of GDDR5 on a 256-bit bus.
Despite all sticking to the regimented clock speeds and prices, from the images on the site the cards don't appear to all use the same cooler with different stickers - instead we see there are several different cooler designs being used from the outset.
With the Radeon HD 5850 costing only $10-$30 more from the same retailer, it's clear which ATI card Nvidia's new product will need to beat. Does a GeForce GTX 465 1GB at $279.99 tempt you? If so, let us know,
in the forums.
