Press Release
FOR IMMEDIATE PUBLICATION

Ian '8Pack' Parry, the world’s number one overclocker to headline judge prestigious MSI Master Overclocking Arena 2014 - the global competition that has set a class of overclocking masters from around the world.

MSI is celebrating its 7th anniversary of this official global overclocking event on the 18th and 19th October, the Master Overclocking Arena (MOA). For several years, the MSI OC SERIES devices, including the XPOWER and MPOWER motherboards and Lightning graphics cards, have been the key components at this competition, allowing the world’s best overclockers to get their hands on the hardware and to push them beyond their limits.

Overclockers UK employee and global number one overclocker 8Pack will be the Master Judge at the event along with overclocking professional Roman (der8auer) from Germany. There will be 19 extreme overclockers, which will be participating in the event, all in the hope to break world records and to push MSI hardware to the absolute extreme.

8Pack will not be entering the competition, as he helped in the development of the MPOWER motherboards, working closely together with MSI and thus giving him an unfair advantage. Therefore, 8Pack, through his expertise, will be judging the enthusiasts with his powerful overclocking knowledge to crown the winner of the Master Overclocking Arena 2014.

8Pack however will be displaying his skills on the second day of the event, Sunday 19th October, benching a 4-way SLI setup with MSI GeForce GTX 980 Gaming Edition 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Cards on a MSI X99S Xpower AC Intel X99 (Socket 2011) DDR4 EATX Motherboard powered by an 8-Core, 16-Threads Intel 5960X Extreme. 8Pack, with the animal-instinct drive inside, will push the hardware to the complete maximum in the hope of achieving new world record.

The whole event is held over in Taiwan and is being streamed live on Overclocking TV, which can be watched on the Overclockers UK website here. Overclocking TV will be capturing the whole event from close-ups, room views and interviews with the overclockers and judges.
