PC enthusiasts and extreme overclockers decended on a park-side pub in Cambridge at the weekend to attend MSI's OC Academy.
The event saw several exteme overclockers including 8Pack and der8auer, push some of the latest hardware to the limit, including MSI Z97 and X99 motherboards and Nvidia's GTX Titan X.
CPUs included Intel's Core i7-5960X and Core i7-4970K, which were helped along with copious amounts of liquid nitrogen.
MSI was keen to introduce newcomers to extreme overclocking too, and classes were held to run enthusiasts through the basics of sub-zero cooling.
Some of the most interesting goings on were 8Pack dealing with a bunch of EVGA EPower Boards, soldered to numerous Nvidia GTX Titan X's, while everything was streamed live on Twitch.

We're waiting to hear where 8Pack and der8auer managed to come, apparently beating several world records using four Titan X graphics cards, with the result yet to be uploaded, while the tournament saw nickolp1974 pick up first place, nabbing an MSI Z97 MPOWER motherboard, with ObscureParadox in second.
