Nvidia has announced a partnership with BitFenix and two UK retailers to release small-form factor gaming PCs under the GeForce GTX Edition moniker, based on the company's Phenom Micro-ATX chassis.

Available from PCSpecialist and Overclockers - as the Falcon X family and ForceBox family respectively - the pre-built systems are available in black and white finishes featuring side-panels customised with an exclusive hand-crafted GeForce GTX claw design. Each includes as standard an Intel CPU, Nvidia GeForce GTX 700-series graphics card and pre-installed GeForce Experience software, and the usual features of the BitFenix Phenom.

Precise specifications have been left up to the retail partners. PCSpecialist starts the range with the Falcon X750, which features as standard a Core i5-4670 on an Asus H81I-Plus motherboard with 8GB of Kingston HyperX Fury RAM, a 2GB GeForce GTX 750 Ti graphics card and a 500GB mechanical hard drive for £750 including VAT. The mid-range is the Falcon X760, featuring the same processor on an Asus Maximus VI Gene motherboard, a 2GB GeForce GTX 760 graphics card and a 120GB Kingston HyperX 3K SSD for £1,000. Finally, the range tops out with the Falcon X770, upgraded to an Intel Core i7-4770K on the same Maximus motherboard, 16GB of Kingston HyperX Fury RAM, a 2GB GeForce GTX 770 and the same 120GB SSD for £1,243. Each can, of course, be specified with different components using the company's customisation service.

Overclockers, meanwhile, starts with the cheaper ForceBox Gamer Plus, priced for its introductory week at £532.94 including VAT and featuring an Intel Core i5-4670 processor an an unspecified H81-chipset motherboard, 8GB of TeamGroup Vulcan Gold 1600MHz CL9 RAM, a 2GB GeForce GTX 750 Ti graphics card and a 1TB mechanical hard drive. At the top of the range is the ForceBox Ultimate, upgraded to an Intel i7-4770K CPU on an unspecified Z87 motherboard, 16GB of 2,133MHz CL11 RAM, a 2GB GeForce GTX 760 graphics card and a 120GB Samsung 840 Evo SSD alongside a 1TB mechanical drive. As with PCSpecialist, upgraded components can be specified at the time of purchase.

Both black and white versions of the chassis are available from both retailers, but there's so far no indication that the GeForce customised case will be sold separate from its internal components for those who prefer to build their own systems.
