The Best of bit-tech 2009

It’s been a busy year at, and there’s been plenty of stuff happening on the site, in the community and behind the scenes – the most notable of which has been our complete incorporation to Dennis Publishing’s London offices and the merger of the bit-tech and Custom PC Magazine teams. We think it’s gone pretty well, and we're definitely looking forward to next year.

On-site we’ve rolled out plenty of new features and enhancements, such as the new Staff Blogs and the Competitions Hub, as well as a tracker so you can see What We’re Reading. All that on top of the usual features, mods and reviews! As the year draws to a close we thought we’d recap quickly on what we’ve seen this year, the work we’re most proud of, and what you seemed to have enjoyed the most. If you’re a newcomer to the site, or just can’t be bothered to traipse back through all the indices, then this is a great place to catch up on the best content of the year too!

From explorations into the future of the games industry to round-ups that aim to decide what the best gaming keyboards or chassis fans are, we’ve written plenty of unique content this year – here are some of the highlights.

ListsWe’re always interested in improving our content and making the site better, so if you’ve got a suggestion then pop your thoughts in the forums. Flip the page for the best modding content.
