Antec, the leading global provider of high-performance components for the gaming, PC upgrade and do-it-yourself markets, has launched Fusion Remote Max - a premium home theatre PC case. The Fusion Remote Max enables users to build a system that combines a multimedia centre with an enclosure that has the capability to support the latest high-end and gaming hardware. The enclosure is the latest addition to Antec’s Veris line of high-performance media components.

Designed for home theatre enthusiasts, Fusion Remote Max includes an aluminium plate front bezel with an LCD display and volume control. Antec’s Deluxe 56 button remote control and iMEDIAN HD media management software helps users to navigate stored media, adjust settings and instantly play music, videos and other programmes. For convenient access to your MP3 player, digital camera, and other devices, the case includes two external USB 2.0 ports, one FireWire® port, one eSATA connector as well as audio in/out ports.

The Fusion Remote Max comes with a 17.8’’ (H) x 17.6’’ (W) x 16.5’’ (D) frame, fitting into any desktop or living room environment. The spacious interior offers space for motherboards up to standard ATX and features one 5.25’’ external and four internal 3.5’’ drive bays. Seven expansion slots and the ability to support dual graphics cards enable users to build an entertainment system capable of supporting the latest games.

To ensure a first-class experience while listening to MP3s, watching movies or playing games, the Fusion Remote Max features removable HDD brackets with silicon grommets that reduce hard drive vibrations. Furthermore, a triple chamber structure separates the heat emissions of the power supply, hard drives and motherboard, allowing for quieter, cooler operation. To reduce heat around valuable hardware components, the case’s cooling system also comes with a side 140mm TriCool fan and one rear 120mm TriCool fan. An optional 120mm front fan mount guides air to the graphics cards, and built-in washable air filters avoid dust-build up, further improving the overall cooling of the system.

“People are always looking for a customisable system that can meet all their different computing applications – from gaming to multimedia,” said Scott Richards, senior vice-president at Antec. “With the Fusion Remote Max we combine multimedia and noise-reducing features with a gamer-friendly, spacious design. The result is a case that allows users to build a top-notch system for a wide variety of purposes.”

The Fusion Remote Max will retail for £64 and is backed by Antec’s Quality 3-Year Warranty. For additional product information and full technical specifications, please visit www.antec.com.
