Deep Silver rocks "nail'd"
Popular alternative rock bands to create soundtrack for Deep Silver's offroad arcade racing game
The ultra-fast racing experience that is "nail'd", the offroad arcade racing game from Deep Silver, is to receive a rousing soundtrack featuring big names of the alternative rock music scene. While players race their quads or bikes along crazy tracks at breakneck speeds, maneuvering unexpected twists, steep slopes and obstacles that seem to spring from out of nowhere, the songs will provide an extra rush to drive them forwards.
Deep Silver has secured the support of well-known names in the alternative rock music scene: aggressive metal by Slipknot, energetic rock from the Backyard Babies, rich riffs by Queens of the Stone Age, the punk rhythms of Rise Against – with these and others, the fast and wild soundtrack is the ideal background for the crazy speed of "nail'd". The driving rhythm of the songs inspires maximum performance on the part of the player, and makes "nail'd" an even more intense experience.
More details regarding the original music also featured in the game will follow shortly. This music was created with the support of an all-star group of well-known alternative rock musicians, and composed especially for "nail'd".
Developed by Techland, "nail'd" will be released for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®, and the PC. The world-wide launch of "nail'd" has been scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2010.
